Our community and missionary partnerships serve as an extension of our body here at McDowell. Our calling is to be in relationship with communities and missionaries around the world that are working to restore the world for Christ and who care for the most vulnerable.
Today, there are more people seeking safety and asylum than ever before. And with the brokenness around our world, that number will continue to grow. But we, as followers of Jesus Christ, have been called to stand in the gap and stand for the refugee.
We believe when communities are trained and equipped to care for their most vulnerable, the entire community is lifted and poverty can be overcome. Our partners serve communities through life-changing resources such as clean water, medical aid, food, equal educational opportunities, vocational training, and empowerment in the midst of unimaginable hardships.
Human trafficking is a global issue that often impacts the most vulnerable people among us. This exploitation includes sex slavery, child soldiers, and forced labor, all of which violate people’s rights and dignity. Together, with our partners, we are helping these victims find restoration.
